چکیده

In this conceptual paper we look at the concept of mediation in foreign language learning from a translation studies perspective. Through an analysis most important European teaching policy document, namely Common Framework Reference for Languages (CEFR), will study conceptualizations and CEFR identify elements that are with respect to understanding translatoriality its role framework. We argue narrow goes against CEFR’s explicit aims mediation. therefore propose might be used instead help teachers learners orient wide variety translatorial practices while still also benefitting well-established widely studied strategies professional interpreting. Further collaboration between interpreting trainers needed, as well fieldwork research on best classroom practices, solid shared basis enhance possibilities combining accumulating findings collected through fieldwork.
